What is the 24hr Blackout?

It's a one-day, Canada-wide fundraising and awareness event for Canadian Baptist youth. For 24 hours, your youth group will unplug from the world's power grid (no lights, stoves, fridges, computers or cell phones)! Having no power will set the stage for your students to explore the issues of social justice and human/refugee rights, while they "recharge" on the greatest source of power - Jesus Christ - and "reboot" together to take this "renewable" power to the local neighbourhood in the form of service.
