Potential Impact is an exciting event especially designed for students in Grade 12! Those that attend this fall retreat will be challenged to consider God’s call on their life\, including the possibility that God may be calling them to a career in Christian ministry.

The event includes amazing worship\, challenging speakers\, panel discussions\, and the chance to make new friends. Those who take part will stay in a hotel and eat great food. In order to allow as many people as possible to attend\, our Convention is providing free transportation to and from the event. Every week\, thousands of volunteers in the churches of our Convention devote time and energy to working with children and youth. In an effort to provide encouragement and practical training\, the Youth &\; Family Department will be sending out two teams to conduct two evenings of training. Each team will consist of a Youth and Family staff person and a veteran pastor. All training sessions will be from 7 to 9 pm. Everyone is welcome!

Our Convention understands the value of investing in our leaders in order to create healthy churches. One way we do this is to have a Youth Pastor's Summit where vocational youth pastors can come together for two days of networking\, encouragement and fun. Accommodations\, meals and the program are provided free of charge.

This annual event is a great opportunity for full and part time youth pastors to connect with each other and be encouraged in their calling. The event is fully subsidized for those who attend! Spouses are encouraged to come as well!

In September 2000\, the Lay Pastor Training Program began with their first classes in NB and NS. Ten years later\, we continue to train and equip lay people for ministry in Atlantic Canada. This fall\, we plan to celebrate 10 years and would like you to join us!
