Crandall University Dedication Service

Crandall University Dedication

A message from Dr. Brian MacArthur, President and Vice-Chancellor of Crandall University:

Construction of our new facility has gone well, but we recently agreed that the target date for occupancy be delayed from September 1 to October 1 (high humidity has interfered with the interior finishing stage). This will create some initial challenges for September classes as we hope to be welcoming the largest student enrolment in our history.

Nonetheless we are proceeding with our Dedication Service as announced through bulletin inserts sent to our churches in June. We will be able to provide tours of the new building on August 21 so visitors are able to appreciate the difference the new facility will make to the University’s future. We have chosen this date in hopes that many church delegates attending the Convention sessions in Sackville will take opportunity to attend and report their experience to their home congregation.

Like the service of dedication for the existing facility held on Friday, August 23, 1996 – this service will also be an historic denominational occasion as we bear testimony to God’s call and faithfulness in raising up a Christian university in Atlantic Canada.

Please pray for the University as we seek to be faithful to our mission of transforming lives through “quality university education firmly rooted in the Christian faith.”
