Facebook

It was not that long ago when the internet was only a concept. Computers were bulky and cumbersome and were inaccessible to the majority of consumers outside a business environment. Now, many of us have two or three computers in our homes and with the evolution of cell phones, we are more connected now than ever before. The desire for real-time communication has fueled the development of social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter.

As a Convention, we have been using our website and email to communicate with our constituents for some time now. And over the past few years, visits to our website have increased by 47%. In addition to these communication mediums, we have increased our online presence by joining Facebook and Twitter, as well as posting our podcasts on iTunes and a channel on YouTube. We are finding new ways of keeping people up to date about what is happening around our Convention. It will also give us opportunities to enter into some discussion about various topics.

On our website, you will see a box with these icons and you can click on each one to subscribe and follow what is happening. We would encourage you to join us here and be among the first to find out the news.
