Incorporation - Final Draft Now Available
The final draft of the General Operating Bylaw is now available. A great deal of our conversations and energy over the past few years have been around the issue of incorporation and the development of the documents related to this.
Convention President, Dr. Robert Knowles, comments "As a Convention Council and family of churches, we have been engaged in a process, a journey of clarification of mission and ministry, and God has been with us as we have worked through this process of incorporation."
After two rounds of open consultations and careful scrutiny, the documents are completed and have been approved by Council and will be presented for approval at Oasis 2010. Letters have been sent to all churches as well as emails containing four documents including the General Operating Bylaw. They are available in two locations on our website:
