Our Convention has over 220 active youth ministries. Approximately 100 of these are overseen by paid staff while the remainder are totally volunteer-led. As well, in the churches with paid youth leadership, a substantial number of volunteers fill out the programs. Our best estimates tell us that there are over 1000 volunteers regularly working with youth within the churches of our Convention!

The Youth Leader Training Program (YLTP) exists to provide top quality training for these volunteers. During the three semesters of the YLTP students will study youth culture and many aspects of youth ministry with a cohort of other students from their area. A new class will begin each September and January. Training will happen in different locations (dependent on need).

All that is required to make application to the Program is a copy of the completed application form, a $50 application fee, and a letter of recommendation from your Senior or Associate Pastor.
