Sid Koop has spent most of his adult life in fulltime youth ministry; the first 3 years as a youth pastor in Canmore, AB, and since then as parttime director of Student Ministries at the EFree Church of Lethbridge, and the founder and director of Truth Matters Ministries. His passion is helping students see the supremacy of Christ in every matter of life and faith, through biblically centered, culturally relevant and personally authentic communication of God’s Word. At home, Sid tries to keep up with his wife Jen, and her passion for exercise, and doubles as a baseball coach and tackling dummy for his boys, Payton and Cole.

Arts Fest

ARTS FEST

The Arts Fest is an opportunity for High School-aged youth to give praise to God by sharing their gifts and talents with God and each other. The Arts Fest takes place late Friday night at Crandall University’s gym, as one option for late night activities at High School Springforth. Arts Fest is a highlight for many students and we are looking for individuals who want to share their gifts with others at Springforth.

Do you sing, play an instrument, perform liturgical dance, play in a band, sing in a choir, or perform in a puppet or mime team? We’d love to have you and your group as a part of the program. Each person or group may contribute only one number and we can only take a limited number of performers due to time restraints and the desire to balance the content of the program.

If interested, apply here and submit by April 1st, 2012.

Film Fest

FILM FEST

The Film Festival will take place on Friday night at the High School Springforth track and offers the chance for students who are interested in making films to showcase their talents. The Springforth Planning team will select the top 5-6 films to be shown and the High School youth will vote on their favourite (Please note: only entries from youth groups will be accepted). Due by April 11th, 2012.
