Dr. Jody Linkletter

Associate Director of Youth & Family Ministries (part time)

Originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Jody served part-time as an Associate Director in the Youth and Family Department from 2006 to 2008 and full-time from then until September 2010. In September 2010, she began working part-time with the Convention as she started serving part-time as the Associate Director of the Doctor of Ministry program and Lecturer in Youth and Family Ministries for Acadia Divinity College.
She is a graduate of Atlantic Baptist University (B.A. Hons; Youth Leadership Certificate), Acadia University (M.Div, Youth Ministry) and the University of Warwick (Ph.D.) During her years of study she has served on the staff of several churches in Atlantic Canada including First Baptist, Moncton, Apohaqui Community Church and Faith Baptist in Lower Sackville.
Jody has a heart to see young people come to know the Lord, and grow in their relationship with Him. Born and raised in the Maritimes, she has a heart for ministry both in this region and beyond. With a rich history of working at camps, churches, serving on the Sharing Way working group, and a variety of cross-cultural experiences, she has developed a deep passion to connect, encourage, and equip youth, youth leaders and their families in order to make a difference in their lives. Through her studies she has developed a passion and desire to equip families and encourage them in their journey as they seek to raise youth who love and walk with the Lord.
She currently resides in Truro with her husband Micah, who is a youth pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church.
