Karen was raised by two Christian parents in Lorneville, a small fishing village on the outskirts of Saint John. Karen joined the staff of the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches in 1999. She is the Senior Financial Assistant for the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches, Pension & Insurance Board and Atlantic Baptist Mission Board. She also does the accounting work for the Baptist Bookroom.
