Marion comes to the part-time position of Coordinator of Family Ministries in September 2010 with rich experiences as a teacher, pastor’s wife and parent. Although born in the USA, she has lived most of her life in the Maritimes, mostly in New Brunswick.

A recent graduate of the M. Div. (Pastoral Track) program at Acadia Divinity College, Marion also holds a B.A., M.Ed. and a Diploma in University Teaching from UNB, and is pursuing her Doctor of Ministry degree from Acadia Divinity College.

Marion delights in encouraging other people to reach their God-given potential, and has a passion for providing spiritual care for ministry families and youth in particular. She is a volunteer RCMP chaplain with the Windsor, Nova Scotia detachment, and both a chaplain and active firefighter with the Hantsport Fire Department. In her role of Community Pastor with Hantsport Baptist Church, she coordinates the youth program and other community-directed ministries.

Marion and her husband Dan live in Hantsport, NS, where Dan serves as pastor. They have four adult children and three grandchildren.
